		<description><![CDATA[<P class=MsoNormal>We are all as fair minded as we are going to be, at least for the time being anyway.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;&#160; </SPAN>We may bend a little from time to time depending on different circumstances.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;&#160; </SPAN>I feel a person needs to realize this ahead of time, so as not to be manipulated by others.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;&#160; </SPAN>Know who you are ahead of time!<BR><BR>Some people will try to make you feel guilty in an effort to get more out of you.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160; </SPAN>They will attempt to get you to bend a lot more than you otherwise would.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160; </SPAN>That is when some important clichÃ©s should come into effect such as â€œStick to your gunsâ€ and â€œIf you donâ€™t stand for something, you will fall for everything.â€<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;&#160; </SPAN>Know ahead of time <SPAN class=GramE>who</SPAN> you are.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;<BR></SPAN><BR>There are abused women all over the country who donâ€™t know who they are.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160; </SPAN>They are made to feel guilty and through the guise of her man, he <SPAN class=GramE>gets</SPAN> what he wants, whether it be sex or worship or both, usually both.&#160; These women lack the confidence to know who they are ahead of time.&#160;&#160; </P>
<P class=MsoNormal>We all know ahead of time there are certain things we wonâ€™t do such as going around&#160;taking our clothes off in public, robbing stores or shooting people.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;&#160; </SPAN>These may be extreme examples, but they are examples that most of us can give a clear yes or no answer to as far as whether we would do them or not.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160; </SPAN>Well, I believe we can condition ourselves and change our lives by extending that principle to all aspects of our everyday living.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Will we allow people to manipulate us?<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160; </SPAN>Yes or no?<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160; </SPAN>If we are so lonely that we put up with that kind of behavior from people, then maybe there is no hope.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160;&#160; </SPAN>Did you like seeing the words, no hope?<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160; </SPAN>I sure didnâ€™t.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&#160; </SPAN>I donâ€™t even know you and I wouldnâ€™t wish that on you or anyone! <BR><BR>If you were in Missouri and you were going to drive to California, you shouldn't end up in Maine.&#160; You would want to follow&#160;a road map which is what I think we all need in our everyday lives, along with the most important words, yes or no.....not maybe!<BR><BR><BR></P>]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[If you treat someone differently (poorly) when you are around other people, as opposed to when it is just the two of you, then I believe you need to be told (or embarrassed).&#160; If you're told this and you are embarrassed, then you probably didn't realize you were doing it.&#160; If you're told this, you may grin and say "yes, dear".&#160;&#160; In this case you may not even care. <BR><BR>When I encounter people who do this it almost feels like I'm in high school again.&#160; If these people could only know or realize how they are acting, they might be embarrassed and make changes in their behavior.&#160; This will only happen if they aren't too far gone into the world they call, "me first".&#160; <BR><BR>Another thing people do to one degree or another is justifying our bad behavior.&#160; We blame our failures in life on other people rather than ourselves.&#160; We are so stuck in this behavior that we can't see we are depriving ourselves and our children of a happy life and I emphasize our children, because that is probably how our parents presented themselves to us.&#160; Their example for us was by not taking responsibility for ones 'self.&#160; <BR><BR>How do we finally change these things from happening, this passing of bad behavior from one generation to another?&#160; I believe the only way is to change our behavior and set a good example.&#160;&#160; If we did that,&#160; we would no longer need to be embarrassed.&#160; <BR><BR>Please visit: <BR><A href="http://ozzie-avon.blogspot.com/" target=_blank>Ozzie Reviews Avon</A><BR>]]></description>

		<title>Bloggers Unite in Acts of Kindness</title>

		<description><![CDATA[<P dir=ltr style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px"><STRONG>A White Cat For Christmas<BR><BR></STRONG>Early in the Fall, a skinny, scrawny, white cat showed up in our yard.&#160; She was just about the most pitiful looking cat my husband and I have ever seen.&#160; She was obviously starving and our hearts went out to her..........<BR><BR>My husband, Gary, always complained about the three cats we've had during our forty years of marriage.&#160;&#160;Two of these consecutive cats lived to approximately 13 years of age and the third is now four years old.&#160; When we lost one cat we would wait a short time and then the kids and I would soon rescue another animal from the local shelter or save a stray in the neighborhood.&#160; <BR><BR>We currently have Ozzie, our black cat.&#160; He is declawed and lives in our home.....ruling our home.&#160; During the past several months, Ozzie and the white cat hissed at each other through the patio doors but Ozzie seemed to enjoy keeping an eye on the white cat.&#160; Gary began to feed her and take her fresh water twice a day.&#160; I was very surprised that he initiated the care and feeding of the white cat.&#160; <BR><BR>Ozzie soon came running to us and meowing when it was time for the white cat to be fed.&#160; He still hissed at her and she hissed back at him, but Ozzie wanted her fed on time!<BR><BR>We began to worry about this white cat when the weather started turning cool.&#160; It can get really cold here in&#160;Missouri.&#160; Now, the white cat had filled out and was looking a lot better.&#160; She stayed within our fenced yard most of the time which seemed a bit strange to us at first, but I believe it was her safe haven from other animals.&#160; She had been declawed and dumped!<BR><BR>We decided the next step would be to put her in the garage and apply some medication to kill the many fleas she had.&#160; Gary built her a little house and padded the floor of it with old towels.&#160; He sat it on some cardboard boxes to keep it off the cold concrete floor.&#160; She spends a lot of time in her new little house.&#160; Ozzie often holds conversations with her through the door which leads to the garage. <BR><BR>I started thinking of names for this white cat and have recently been calling her Mandy after one of my favorite Barry Manilow songs from years ago.&#160; It just seems to fit her.&#160; My grandson thinks she looks like a sphinx......probably due to the fact that her head has an unusual shape with a very pointed face.&#160; <BR><BR>Mandy is soon to become our white Christmas cat, joining Ozzie indoors.&#160; We never planned on having more than one cat in the house, but sometimes you just have to reach out and help another living creature in need.&#160; Saving an animal was my act of kindness and I'm so very glad my husband and I have added Mandy to our family.&#160; I sure hope Ozzie will be glad too..... when his new adopted sister begins to share his domain.&#160; <BR></P>
